WLW With Chasity
Well I stared off good, I really did.
Sunday was GAME DAY. It was also the last Sunday I will spend with Terry Bradshaw and the Peanut Gallery until September, unless he decides not to come back. I cannot imagine a Foot Ball Sunday without Terry Bradshaw. Not that I am a huge Steelers Fan, I am a fan, have been since the 70's, but the Bears are my FAV. I just enjoy Terry's wit and humor and his down to earth common sense. Oh, I was supposed to be doing WLW, sorry....
Sunday hubby cooked, I ate some, but not all. I had one of his hot dogs wrapped in bacon and cooked on the griddle just so I could affirm his cooking skills and stroke his ego. No bun though, even if I did make them myself.
Monday was a good day as was Tuesday (did I mention I was sick/recovering last week?). I did 15 miles yesterday on my stationary bike in 40 minutes while watching Biggest Loser. This morning I awoke with an itchy throat and a stinging nose-ALLERGIES. I have started making my own cleaning products due to my daughters allergies & nosebleeds, and this means chemicals and perfumes set off mine because I am no longer used to inhaling them. So how does my daughter thank me? She bathes in perfume sprays and lotions..... (Note to Mother-In-Law, no more stinky stuff for my daughter). I will do my indoor walk at lunch time and some strength training then see how I feel about this afternoon's walk. I break up my work outs, 1 mile indoor in the AM, ST at lunch time, 2 or 3 mile walk (or bike ride) at 3. This keeps my metabolism going and I have noticed I don't crank up the heater or add excess wood to the stove (wood burning stove for heat-more allergies) when I am doing things this way.
So I am leaving you with this pre-recordedtyped message from my beloved Spark People. See all of you soon, when I come to visit your WLW posts.
As you may know, I am an active member of the popular healthy-living website, SparkPeople.com. In an effort to help SparkPeople live out their mission of helping millions of people reach their goals and live healthier lives, I have joined a contest they're holding called "The Spark Free Chapter Challenge." If you have one minute to spare, I could use your help, because I REALLY want to win!
So here's the deal with the challenge…
Chris Downie, SparkPeople's CEO and founder, recently published a book called "The Spark" that offers a proven new approach to improving your health, transforming your life and reaching your goals (for example, real people have lost over 10 million pounds using their free online program)!
People like me who are helping them "Spread The Spark" through The Spark Free Chapter Challenge are encouraging our friends and family to download a FREE chapter of "The Spark" book. And for every person I can encourage to download the chapter, I will get an additional chance to win a $500 weekend getaway and other prizes, as well as something they offer called "SparkPoints," which also help motivate me to reach my goals.
All you have to do to help is download a free chapter from The Spark book. Nothing else. To do so, simply go to http://book.sparkpeople.com/book.asp?u=VALERIENEAL and click the button to download your free chapter.
If you would be willing to help me with this, I would truly appreciate it, and I also think you will enjoy reading this free chapter from "The Spark". I know I did!
Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it.

Have a great day..
Val,
You are doing so good.
A hotdog with bacon, sounds yummy.
Keep up the good work!
Hope you continue to feel better.
You are doing great. 15 miles on the bike is awesome. I am all home now....with no extra plans for next week, just relaxing, school, and such.
Be blessed,
Chasity
